I’ve decided to take part in the Autumn Readathon being run by Mercedes from MercysBookishMusings. If you want to take part then it is running from the 20th to 26th October. Below are the prompts and the books I’ve chosen to read.

  1. Read a gothic/spooky book: The Upstairs Room by Kate Murray-Browne
  2. Read a non-fiction book that feels autumnal – this could be nature writing or cold location travel writing: Penguins and Other Sea Birds by Matt Sewell
  3. Read a novel set in a cold location: Snowglobe by Amy Wilson
  4. Read a historical fiction novel: The Clockmaker’s Daughter by Kate Morton
  5. Read a short story collection: Fierce Fairytales by Nikita Gill
  6. Read an adult novel about a young female protagonist: The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart by Holly Ringland
